How one financial planner is tackling later life care advice

‘It has become important to ensure that later life clients have a plan’

Later life care will become increasingly important in the advice industry, according to Matrix Capital founder and managing director Robin Melley.

In an interview with Professional Adviser, planning boss Melley shared that he thinks more advisers should be looking at offering later life care services to clients. In October 2023, Just Group found that nearly all advisers said that care forms part of their planning conversations with clients. Nevertheless, there are not enough financial planning or advice firms offering later life care services, according to Melley.
