Advances in the detection and screening of diseases have been the dominant issues in critical illness (CI) market over the last few months. As reported in last month's Cover, following news of the Government's intention to introduce population-based prostate cancer screenings across the UK, the Association of British Insurers (ABI) Critical Illness Working Party has proposed a draft rewording of the cancer definition.
