Group has launched an offshore version of the Fixed interest portfolio it sold to new star

Aberdeen has launched an offshore version of the Fixed Interest fund it sold to New Star at the start of the year. Fixed Interest, to be managed by Paul Reed, is a sub-fund of the Aberdeen International Dublin Oeic. The fund has regulatory clearance and is awaiting the transfer of a tranche of institutional monies before it can begin investing. Gary Marshall, managing director of Aberdeen, said the group has retained institutional investments in the funds sold on to New Star and the new fund will enable it to service these clients.
