New launches expected to be property and commodities focused
Forsyth Partners is considering launching more single strategy funds of hedge funds adding to its existing income-paying fund of fixed income funds. Rossen Djounouv, managing director, institutional, for the Surrey-based fund of fund firm, said a fund of property hedge funds or fund of commodities funds were the main candidates for launch in early 2005. Forsyth launched long-only versions of these multi-manager funds during 2004, as an intentional precursor to hedged versions.
