Invesco is set to launch Islamic products for the Middle East market, following its application for a licence to operate in Dubai. The company has submitted an application to the Dubai Financial Services Authority for a licence to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre. Cormac Sheedy, associate director of the international development division, said: "The regulatory environment at the DIFC is modelled closely to London and New York, and provides investors with the reassurances they would expect in a credible capital market.
