To no one's surprise, funds in the TMT global sector have suffered terribly over the past three years, with all funds performing negatively. Those that fared better than others undertook a conservative philosophy and focused on TMT compa- nies which provided consumer services. The Seligman Global Technology portfolio was ranked in the fourth percentile relative to its peers over a three-year period. But its performance throughout this period has been varied.
