Half of institutional investors in the UK plan to increase their investment exposure to the Gulf region over the next three years, according to Lyxor Asset Management. The firm, a wholly owned subsidiary of Société Générale, said its research revealed almost three quarters (70%) of institutional investors believed the region had the potential for strong future growth. Other investors claimed that economic and political stability in the region played a strong part for their reason in investing in the Gulf.
