UK Society of Investment Professionals changes name

The UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP) has changed its name to CFA Society of the UK (CFA UK).

The society proposed the name change to better identify its association with the CFA Institute, an investment professionals organization. Will Goodhart, chief executive of UKSIP comments: “The society’s name change will help employers and other industry participants to identify our purpose and position more immediately. We continue to look forward to providing our members with the educational, advocacy and professional development services that they require.” The change will come into effect on January 1 next year.
