SAM hands three managers UK Equity MM mandates

Santander Asset Management (SAM) has added three managers to run UK Equity mandates in its multi-manager and premium investments funds.

SAM has given new mandates to BlackRock, Newton and its own Richard Moore – in addition to the existing State Street mandate. The changes affect the Santander Multi-Manager Equity, Growth, Cautious and Balanced funds. SAM says BlackRock’s Mark Lyttleton and Nick Osborne were selected because of a strong track record in running the firm’s UK and UK Dynamic funds, while the Richard Wilmot-run Newton UK Growth fund will complement the portfolio’s management style.
