The Personal Accounts Delivery Authority will need the help of the financial services industry to design the generic advice which is "crucial" for personal accounts, claims John Hutton.
Speaking at the Association of British Insurers’ “Saver Summit”, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, says personal accounts and auto-enrolment - which he describes as a “quintessential New Labour policy” - are designed to help facilitate personal responsibility. But he warns: “Whether they save will remain the individual’s decision.
