Pensions minister Malcolm Wicks has confirmed eligibility details of the Financial Assistance Scheme, added to last week's Pre-Budget announcements.
Wicks has announced that underfunded pension schemes, which began to wind up between 1 January 1997 to 5 April 2005 - the implementation date for the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) - would be potentially eligible for aid from the FAS.
