Fortis and Click launch 'no frills' life cover

Fortis Life UK has partnered with Click to launch a ‘no frills' new term insurance product designed to address the £2.3trn protection gap.

The independently-owned brokerage firm has worked with Fortis, a player in the protection market since July, to develop the ‘bare bones’ term product, Click Life Cover, available from click.co.uk. This move marks Click’s drive to address the estimated £2.3trn UK protection gap by making life cover more affordable for people who need it, says the company. The life insurance cover pays out on death only, with up to a £1m sum assured available.
