ABN AMRO Asset Management has announce David Kiddie is to join it in the role of chief investment officer (CIO) equities early in 2007 to succeed Kevin Smith.
Smith is leaving for personal reasons. Kiddie has been with Baring Asset Management since 2003, most recently as head of equities, responsible for investment professionals in various locations across the globe. Previously he was CIO of retail equities for Insight Investments following the merger with Rothschild Asset Management in 2002. Prior to this David Kiddie was CIO/ head of global equities for Rothschild Asset Management and spent six years with Hill Samuel as head of european equities.
