The Financial Services Skills Council has revealed preliminary results of a pilot project for accrediting in-house training schemes.
Early indications are that such schemes have resulted in a big increase in business for the providers involved: Norwich Union and Aon Norwich Union Life and Aon’s Reinsurance division will become the first companies to receive Exemplar Status for their approach to training. Norwich Union claims its in-house training has generated a ten-fold return on investment.
