Govt launches pension tracking service

The Pension Service, a Government run initiative set up under the Department of Work and Pensions, has launched a Pension Tracing Service.

The service locates those pension schemes details that may be lost by individuals by way of access to a database of over 200,000 occupational or personal pension schemes. The Pension Service says its new initiative aims to re-unite people with any unclaimed pension benefits, at no cost to the user.
