LV= expands MM team with Brooks hire

Simon Brooks has joined LV= Asset Management (LVAM) as principle fund manager within the multi-manager and fund selection team.

Brooks joins LVAM from Skandia, where he worked with the multi-asset and alternatives team. Prior to working at Skandia, he was a senior fund manager and part of the founding multi-manager team at Solus. Brooks will report to Tom Caddick, head of multi-manager and fund selection, who joined LVAM in December. The multi-manager team has already set up two funds since late 2007 and Brooks will be assisting the team in expanding their offering in 2008.
