Prudential is carrying out 100 training sessions over the next three months in what it describes as a "more aggressive" strategy to encourage advisers to recommend its flexible protection plan.
The plan was launched to selected protection intermediaries last July and aims to address the high rate of declined critical illness (CI) claims by covering “serious illnesses” as well as critical illnesses, with payouts linked to the severity of the illness and matched to the financial impact this has on the claimant’s lifestyle.
