CAUTIOUS Managed funds are not delivering for investors because they are ‘rammed full of fixed interest', Jon Maguire, founder of investment boutique cru claims.
Maguire, former investment director for Legal & General Investment Management, has launched his own absolute return fund, scheduled for inclusion in the IMA’s Cautious Managed sector, which he said would put the performance of its peers to shame. The CF ARCH Cru Portfolio fund, a multi-manager OEIC, comprises five equity income funds and cash. But the greatest exposure is to three specialist portfolios.
