Remortgaging advice searches on Unbiased.co.uk increased to 33% of all consumer requests in June.
According to the advice website's latest Mortgage Advice Drivers report, requests from those seeking whole of market remortgage advice have now increased by 5% since May 2009. Requests from first time buyers for mortgage advice made up 41% of all consumer requests in June, a small drop from 44% seen in May 2009. However, it remains the top most searched for advice criteria in June. The third most popular search was for whole of market mortgage advice on the residential property market, with 24% of searches specifying this option.
