Industry bodies flock to Tories ahead of general election

A "huge range" of trade bodies and industry players are putting forward ideas on pensions policy to the Conservative Party ahead of the general election, Nigel Waterson says.

The Conservative pension spokesman said the National Association of Pension Funds and the Association of British Insurers were among those actively engaging with them. He said: "One thing we are not short of is ideas and suggestions. I think people can read the opinion polls and think we might be in government and are keen to influence what we might want to do."
