Scottish Widows will help develop the Level 4 Institute of Financial Planning IFP) paraplanner qualification
Scottish Widows Academy, which supports learning for intermediaries, will join up with the IFP on testing the skill set and competences of paraplanning in the first UK qualification of its kind. Paraplanners will answer a series of multiple choice questions online as well as more in-depth questions based on case studies. Initially, the IFP expect a small number of candidates to sit the exam in early 2010 via two pilot schemes.
