Russell Investments has tapped two Barclays Global Investors (BGI) executives, formerly tasked with growing iShares, to help build products related to the ETF business.
Russell says it hired James Polisson to serve as managing director of Russell's ETF operations and Andrew Arenberg as managing director of global ETF distribution. Polisson was previously at BGI, the former parent company of iShares, where he served as chief marketing officer overseeing iShares and other businesses. Arenberg was managing director of BGI's global eBusiness and served as managing director of channel marketing for the firm.
