Strategic Asset Managers takes stake in Nucleus

Glasgow-based adviser Strategic Asset Managers has joined wrap provider Nucleus as the business prepares for the RDR.

The company, whose five advisers specialise in providing wealth management, tax mitigation, retirement and succession planning, has taken an equity stake in the IFA-owned and controlled wrap. Strategic managing director Derek Stewart says, after considering a range of platforms, he felt Nucleus was best positioned to deliver the required level of service and transparency before implementation of the RDR in 2012.
