Curtis Banks tries to level SSAS/SIPP playing field

Curtis Banks has launched an online portal for SSAS clients in a bid to equalize its SIPP and SSAS offerings.

The online service allows SSAS clients to view asset values, bank account transactions and fund splits in one place, in a similar package to that offered to SIPP clients. Steve Hart, business development director at Curtis Banks, says SSAS services "have fallen badly behind SIPPs in terms of product development". "For too long SSAS clients have been neglected and suffered fee structures and administration systems more appropriate to the 1980's," Hart adds.
