Credit Suisse has launched four new ETFs on the London Stock Exchange, including a fund providing exposure to alternative energy.
The CS ETF tracking the Credit Suisse Global Alternative Energy index provides exposure to 30 of the largest companies selected from a broad universe comprising wind, solar, bioenergy/biofuels, natural gas and geothermal energy. The firm's global head of ETFs Dan Draper says: "We expect a strong development of alternative energies over the next few decades and we believe that Credit Suisse's ETF will provide investors with easy access to this growing and increasingly important sector."
