Emerging market funds are proving popular for SIPP and ISA investments, according to broker TD Waterhouse.
The BlackRock Gold & General and Aberdeen Emerging Markets funds are the most popular funds for clients through both savings vehicles, the broker says. Gold is also proving a popular choice for investors wary about the strength of the global recovery. TD Waterhouse says 26% of its clients are likely to invest in international equities via their SIPPs while three in ten clients have bought or sold shares in companies listed outside the UK in the past year.
