'Find A Female IFA' service launched

A tool designed to help women find a female independent financial adviser has been launched.

The search facility, launched by Financial Mail in partnership with unbiased.co.uk, will allow users to find advisers by location, area of specialism, payment options and qualifications. Karen Barrett, chief executive of unbiased, says: "Lots of women are juggling their career and family and feel that another woman is more likely to understand their financial situation. "Women are also great communicators and it is possible that women will put greater levels of confidence and trust in other women.
