LV= links with Barclays platform for SIPP investors

LV= will allow its SIPP customers to use Barclays Stockbrokers' execution-only trading platform to invest their pension assets.

The partnership allows investors in LV='s SIPP to invest in equities, funds, exchange traded funds, structured products and commodities with no inactivity fee for infrequent users. Ray Chinn, head of pensions at LV=, said: "We are continuously looking at ways in which our SIPP can be improved to offer the best value and quality for our customers. "The combination of our expertise with that of Barclays Stockbrokers can help advisers to provide a clear, easy to understand experience for their clients, whilst giving access to an intuitive and efficient trading platform."
