London IFA takes top seat at Million Dollar Round Table

A London-based Chartered Financial Planner has been appointed secretary of international financial planning association the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Caroline Banks, director of Caroline Banks & Associates, took up the position at the start of September and isa set to become president of the organisation in 2015. Founded in 1927, MDRT - which calls itself the "premier association of finance professionals - has members from 430 companies in 78 countries. A 22-year member of MDRT, Banks now represents about 36,000 financial planners worldwide and the organisation's aim to ensure its advisers serve clients with the "highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity".
