Fidelity's Ian Spreadbury talks to Cherry Reynard about why he has pared down risk in his Strategic Bond fund.
Ian Spreadbury is a 25 year veteran of bond markets and, as such, when he turns bearish, investors take note. In July, he pared down risk in the Fidelity Strategic Bond fund, moving out of higher yielding bonds and riskier corporates and into supranational bonds and liquid government bonds.
