The Money Advice Service has failed to make clear its strategy and is in danger of failing to serve its target audience, according to a shadow minister.
Chris Leslie MP, the shadow financial secretary, set his sights on the organisation during the latest meeting of the Financial Services Bill Committee, calling for the service to be subject to the Freedom of Information Act. "Trying to find out what the Money Advice Service's strategy is and how well it is working, it is clear that there is a lot of secrecy and obfuscation about what is happening and where it is going with its strategy," he said.
