Bluefin IFA arm appoints managing director

Axa has appointed the management team to lead its IFA arm Bluefin Personal Consulting, following the sale of the group's corporate advice service to Capita.

Graham Harvey, formerly managing director of UK individual products at Friends Life, joins as managing director. Interim deputy managing director Simon Hellier will become Harvey's deputy. The appointments follow the departure of five top executives to Capita Hartshead, following the £50m sale of Bluefin Corporate Consulting last month. Former Bluefin CEO Nick Burns will become chief executive of the combined business.
