Franklin Templeton launches multi-asset Brazil fund

Franklin Templeton has launched a Brazilian Opportunities fund targeting a total return from Brazilian equity, fixed income and currency markets.

The fund will be managed by Stephen Dover, managing director of Franklin Templeton's Local Asset Management group, and Sao-Paulo based Marco Freire and Frederico Sampaio, the firm's chief investment officers for Brazilian fixed income and equities respectively. Portfolio construction will centre on bottom-up analysis and a macroeconomic view of asset allocation across equities, fixed income and currency markets.
