Scottish Widows has launched an auto-enrolment platform, AssistMe, to aid employers as the new pension rules comes in.
The platform comes just weeks before the UK's largest employers implement auto-enrolment, which will also be rolled out to nearly all UK employers over the next five years. The group said the platform's aim was to "help employers of all sizes meet their auto enrolment obligations". Scottish Widows said the main features of AssistMe will include a single interface which assesses employees' eligibility for automatic enrolment, calculating contributions, dealing with opt-outs, opt-ins and re-enrolment.
