The Law Society has urged the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to rethink proposals to allow referrals to restricted advisers, warning of a 'clear risk' to law firms.
A recently-closed consultation by the SRA set out a number of options for rewording its handbook to recognise the Retail Distribution Review definitions, with the organisation recommending one which would allow for referrals to restricted advisers.
