Ex-Threadneedle chairman joins Intrinsic

Among his duties, Davies will chair the Intrinsic Investment Committee. He worked as chairman of Threadneedle Investments until June, when he retired. He joined Threadneedle as Chief Investment Officer in 1995. He replaces Paul Manduca on the Intrinsic board who has left to take up his new role as chairman of Prudential. He will join George Mitchell and Keith Baldwin, the two other non-exec directors on the board, as well as the chairman, Lord Leitch; the chief executive officer, Richard Freeman; the managing director corporate, Wallace Dobbin; and the finance director, David Capel.
