Autumn Statement 2012: corporation tax to be cut

The main rate of corporation tax to fall from 22% to 21% from April 2014, the chancellor said today.

The rate will be the lowest of any major Western economy, George Osborne said. He said this sends out the message: "Come here, create jobs here, Britain is open for business." More to follow...
