'Good advice works': MAS chief lauds service's impact

Almost half a million people used the Money Advice Service (MAS) in the last quarter of 2012, latest figures from the organisation show.

In total, more than 2.5 million people have used the service since it was launched in April 2011. The MAS also said its users were satisfied with its service. It said eight out of ten people got the information they needed and seven out of ten said it had helped them decide on a course of action. Some 88% said they would use the service again.
