Investment Week's deputy news editor Dan Jones took the top prize at the prestigious Investment Management Association (IMA) awards last night.
Jones (pictured) beat all-comers to be crowned the 2013 IMA Trade Journalist of the Year, as the judges were impressed with his detailed knowledge of the industry and imaginative writing style. Jones has broken a number of exclusive stories this year, including Liontrust's Gary West retiring after a 26-year career, while he also has a talent for analysis. The judges recognised the 29-year-old's ability to cut to the heart of key industry issues and extrapolate meaningful conclusions, as his recent work on how fund flows have changed following the exit of Richard Buxton from Schroders ...
