Henderson's Stewart Cazier is to join Old Mutual Wealth, with Paul Craig also joining the firm, after the group agreed a deal to buy up Henderson's remaining stake in Intrinsic's investment company Cirilium.
Cazier will be joining Old Mutual Wealth's distribution team as chief operating officer to help develop its distribution capability. He said: “This is a very exciting time to be joining Old Mutual Wealth. It has great products, strong asset management and is investing in advice. “These are all the components of a great customer proposition and I am very much looking forward to being part of its next stage of growth.” Cazier has been at Henderson since 2009 following its acquisition of New Star.
