FCA warns consumers on IFA clone

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned of a scam operation pretending to be Devon-based advice firm Investment & Financial Solutions Partnership.

The regulator said the clone firm operates under a similar name - Investment & Financial Solution Partnership LLP - and uses the same Devon address as the IFA, which is run by Helen Mulvaney and Ian Pennicott. The scammer also operates a website under www.ifspllp.co.uk, which the real firm does not have and uses email addresses [email protected] and [email protected].
