Axa Wealth's Corporate Investment Services business is increasing the investment universe for employee benefits consultants by adding exchange traded funds (ETFs) to its bespoke Investment Only offering.
The move means ETFs can form part of Axa's investment offering for trustees of both defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) schemes. With access to the European ETF market, Axa Corporate Investment Services now offers trustees the ability to design a more diversified portfolio, with daily liquidity. An additional benefit of this liquidity, which has been utilised significantly by pension schemes in both the US and Australia, is the use of ETFs in the transitioning of scheme assets.
