Simon Brazier and equities team quit Threadneedle for Investec

Simon Brazier and his UK equities team are leaving Threadneedle Investments to join Investec Asset Management.

Brazier (pictured), who was head of UK equities at Threadneedle, and co-manager Blake Hutchins, as well as three analysts from the team, will all join Investec AM in November, Investment Week, Professional Adviser's sister title, reports. Brazier will work alongside Investec AM's Alastair Mundy, head of contrarian investing and the Value Team at the group and manager of a range of funds including the group's UK Special Situations fund.
