Richard Pursglove exits Artemis after 12 months

Richard Pursglove has exited Artemis Fund Managers after just a year at the group.

Artemis' head of retail joined from Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) almost a year ago to the day, but has now left the company. Pursglove has held roles at a number of major fund groups, joining GSAM in 2011 after working as Gartmore's head of UK retail for three years. Prior to that he enjoyed a seven-year spell at Cazenove Capital. Artemis' head of asset gathering, Dick Turpin, will take over Pursglove's role, a spokesman said.
