More than half of a 'representative sample' of workers questioned in a recent survey said they were unaware the government's pension reforms had happened.
Consumer research commissioned by the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) in October found 52% of a pool of 2,000 workers had never heard of the pension reforms, while a fifth was still uncertain what they would do with their pot in retirement. Overall, the annual study found saving for retirement ranked third on the respondents' list of priorities for allocating their money, trailing behind saving for a holiday and saving for a rainy day.
