An advice firm consolidator is requiring all of its advisers to attain Chartered status, requiring Level 6 qualifications - two grades above the minimum.
Attivo group mandated all its planners, investment managers and para-planners attain the Chartered Insurance Institute's (CII) Level 6 qualification, and has launched a training academy to facilitate the process. They will also have to undertake 70 hours of continuing personal development - twice the 35 hours the regulator requires. Other non-advisory staff will need to take Level 4 Diploma qualifications - the current regulatory minimum required for advsiers.
