FE Trustnet has revealed the groups and funds topping its passive ratings chart as its ETF and tracker comparison service goes live.
The service, which goes live today, initially covers 229 of the ETFs and index trackers available for sale in the UK. Of the 229 funds rated, 55 gained the highest possible rating of five passive crowns. Conversely, 32 funds were awarded the lowest rating of just one passive crown. The passive crowns are awarded based on three key criteria: tracking difference, tracking error, and fund size, in an effort to move away from a sole focus on cost.
