A quality kitemark for financial advisers could soon be back on the table as charity Fairlife prepares new proposals.
Fairlife is in the process of bringing to market a set of industry kitemarks 'guaranteeing a minimum level of sound service' to consumers and could soon be taking a new proposal to financial advisers. The charity is currently finalising the development of pension specific kitemarks to "kickstart" consumer saving for later life, it said. It had previously been in discussions with the adviser community and the regulator about introducing a quality seal, but discussions stalled after the regulator could not agree on regulations around the delivery.
