FCA names Jonathan Davidson retail supervision director

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has recruited Jonathan Davidson as director of supervision - retail and authorisations.

Davidson is currently a senior advisor to private equity and financial services firms. He was previously the chief operating officer for Direct Line. He will work alongside Tracey McDermott who is director of supervision - investment, wholesale and specialist.   Davidson will report directly to chief executive Martin Wheatley.
