The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has removed the requirement to sit an exam on its senior management qualification for financial planners (AF6).
From October next year those wishing to attain the institute's senior management and supervision qualification in financial planning will have to complete coursework only. The new structure is designed to "ease anxieties about performance" and will come closer to a workplace scenario than a written exam, CII director of financial services and insurance markets Steve Jenkins said.
